Teen's Rapid Heart Beat Cured Without Radiation

Emily Vaca, 13, successfully underwent a minimally invasive treatment targeting abnormal cells that caused her heart to beat up to 200 beats per minute. The new treatment is considered to be more accurate than radiation and uses magnets to create a 3D map of a patient’s heart. Dr. Bruce Hensel reports for NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Sept. 19, 2013.
