Ku Klux Klan Fliers Delivered to Homes in San Bernardino County

The flyer also included a phone number, in addition to the website of the supremacist group.

Outrage in an Inland Empire neighborhood after homeowners find fliers promoting recruitment of the Ku Klux Klan.

Police is investigating bags with flyers promoting the Ku Klux Klan group that were left at the front of residencies in Crestline in San Bernardino County.

The distribution of plastic bags with flyers promoting the membership of the Ku Klux Klan racist group sparked indignation and rejection in the community.

According to the neighbors, the bags contained stones to add weight on to the packages and a message that said: "Save our land. Join the Klan," said Marlene Ruiz, a Crestline resident.

The flyer also included a phone number, in addition to the website of the supremacist group.

"I opened the door of my car, and I found a Ku Klux Klan package," said another resident of the area.

According to San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Lt. Don Lupear, nobody was the target and the race in particular.

Most of the brochures were left in homes on Springwater Street in the Crestline community.

The investigators are investigating the complaints. However, he stressed that distributing flyers is a right any person has.

If anyone receives any threat or more packages related to this incident, please contact the Sheriff's Department.
