Another day of demonstrations are scheduled throughout Southern California Sunday.
Events are scheduled to begin as early as 9 a.m. Sunday with a candlelight vigil at the steps of City Hall and continue into the evening with marches and demonstrations. Protests are scheduled in Venice, North Hollywood, Pasadena, Glendale and other cities throughout SoCal.
Protests sparked by the death of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who was pinned to the ground under knee of a police officer in Minneapolis, are scheduled Sunday throughout the county. Saturday was a relatively peaceful day in Southern California following a week of unrest.

6:00 p.m.: Hollywood Protest
Around 6 p.m., the peaceful protest in Hollywood had grown to an estimated 20,000 people, which would make it undoubtedly the largest crowd gathered for a George Floyd protest in the LA area.
5:00 p.m.: Hollywood Protest
In what appeared to be the largest demonstration in the Los Angeles area thus far, a crowd of an estimated 10,000 protesters was marching in the Hollywood area. According to a police helicopter, at least 10,000 protesters were marching, with as many as 14,000 protesters gathered.
2:15 p.m. National Guard Leaving
The National Guard confirms they are leaving Los Angeles. Mayor Eric Garcetti said he asked Gov. Gavin Newsom for 500 to 700 members of the Guard to assist the LAPD on May 30th.
1:45 p.m.
Newschopper4 Bravo was over Huntington Beach where a small peaceful protest had formed. The beaches and restaurants in Huntington Beach were full.
1:30 p.m.
Newschopper4 Alpha was over a peaceful protests in North Hollywood.
12:30 p.m. Compton Peace March
A peaceful protest marched through the streets of Compton. Mayor Aja Brown was involved in the planning of the march. The Compton cowboys also participated in the march.
500 to 1,000 people were expected at the march. The march is expected to end at the Compton Civic Center at 2 p.m. Organizers asked participants to please wear a mask.
Noon: Newschopper4 Alpha Over downtown LA
Newschopper4 Alpha was over a small protest on the steps of City Hall. Protesters held signs saying "no justice, no peace" and "black lives matter."
11 a.m. More Protests Begin
Protests were scheduled to begin in Highland Park and Pacific Palisades.
10:15 a.m. Ride to End Racism
Ride to End Racism began in Venice. Ride began at the corner of Venice and Lincoln Blvd and rode through Abbot Kinney and Santa Monica. Newschopper4 Alpha was over the peaceful ride where around 50 bikers rode together.
10 a.m.
Protests began in downtown Los Angeles and Mission Hills.
9 a.m.
Mothers Breathing for George Floyd held a vigil on the steps of City Hall. LAPD Chief Michel Moore was expected to join.
5 a.m. Santa Ana curfew ends
The city of Santa Ana had a curfew enforced from Saturday at 10 p.m. until Sunday at 5 a.m. following protests.
