14 Arrested in Venice Undercover Prostitution Sting

LOS ANGELES -- Fourteen men and women were arrested as part of an undercover prostitution investigation in the Venice area, police said Friday.

LAPD officers took the suspects into custody during a seven-hour operation that began at aboutt 8 p.m. March 6, the LAPD reported. The officers targeted a general area around Lincoln Boulevard and Indiana Avenue.

The operation included undercover officers from the LAPD's Pacific Division Vice Unit, Hollywood Vice, West Los Angeles Vice and the Detective Support Division.
