A young man was taken into custody in Glendale Sunday evening after allegedly stabbing four people in Panorama City earlier in the day.
He is accused of repeatedly stabbing his ex-girlfriend, her sister and two little girls in Panorama City, police said.
The attack occurred around 1:10 p.m. in the 8800 block of Tobias Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The ex-girlfriend is the most critically injured, police said. She and her sister are in serious condition.
The suspect led police on a 19-mile pursuit that ended in a rollover crash Glendale. The man fled the vehicle and held police at bay for hours while standing on the roof of a nearby home under construction. He eventually surrendered.
All four of the stabbing victims are expected to survive their injuries.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the stabbing.
