Three men were shot, one of them fatally, at a tire store in Santa Ana Sunday, a police spokesman said.
The shootings at the Pro Audio Wheels and Tire shop at 2015 W. 17th St. was reported about 3:45 p.m., according to police.
Officers responded to the scene and found one man dead at the location, Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said. His name was being withheld pending notification of kin.
Officers detained another man at the tire store who was wounded.
Paramedics took him to a hospital for treatment.
A short time later, a third man arrived at a trauma center suffering from life-threatening multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The conditions of the other two wounded men are unknown.

Detectives don't yet know if the shootings were connected or if they were gang-related, Bertagna said.
A motive for the attacks was unknown and there is no suspect information at this point, he said.
