Patients at the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center are often delighted when Sancho, the 10-year-old Jack Russell terrier, visits them on a weekly basis.
Driving around the hospital in his very own Volkswagen bus, the volunteer pup can be heard riding down the hall as he makes his rounds to bring cheer to patients.
Sancho can typically be seen wearing snazzy Hawaiian collared shirts, but it's a holiday ensemble that captured the hearts of the Internet after Twitter user @jewelsssm shared photographs of the pooch riding in his decorated VW.

The jolly pup spreads holiday cheer with his candy cane headband, red goggles and tinsel-covered ride, topped with a big, red bow. He and his owner have been volunteering for over a year, and patients are always happy to hear the wheels of his VW going their way, a hospital spokeswoman said.
With his very own ID badge, complete with his name and photograph, he is very much a part of the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center staff, and brings joy to both the patients and staff alike.
