Dodgers Begin Single-Game Ticket Sales, Celebrate FanFest

For the first time in years, fans will be able to buy seats at individual games

For the first time in several years, the Dodgers on Saturday began selling single-game tickets.

In advance of the 2013 season, the team opened up sales to all 81 regular season home games at Dodger Stadium. Some tickets for Opening Day on April 1 were available too.

Sales began at 10 a.m., an hour before the Los Angeles team's planned free FanFest at the stadium. Gates to the stadium opened at 6:30 a.m. for fans to come purchase ticket.

Individual game pricing starts at $8 for the cheapest seats at the lowest-tier games. Tickets are available online too.

The Dogers are moving this coming season from a two-tier pricing system to a four-tier system. Tickets will be progressively more expensive from One-Star games to Four-Star Games.

From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the team FanFest at the stadium was slated to feature appearances and autographs with Dodgers, including Andre Ethier, Zack Greinke, Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw.

The event was set to include a kids’ zone, interactive games, a memorabilia exhibit, entertainment and other family-friendly activities.

Hundreds of fans turned out, clad in Dodger blue and white.

The FanFest comes a day after the family of Bryan Stow said on its website that the Giants fan who was beaten at Dodger Stadium was back in the hospital with a serious blood clot. Stow was seriously injured and had brain damage after he was attacked at Opening Day 2011, allegedly by Louie Sanchez, 30, and Marvin Norwood, 32.
