Fontana Man's Body Found in Burned Car

A missing Fontana man's body was found in a car that was set ablaze

A 40-year-old Fontana father of three who went missing Friday, leaving behind a trail of blood and evidence of a struggle, was found dead in his burned car Saturday. His family called on the public for help in finding his killer. Tena Ezzeddine reports for NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013.

A body found in a burned car at a Rialto park was identified as a missing Fontana man, the San Bernardino County Cororner's Office confirmed on Saturday.

The body of Alejandro Padilla, 40, was found in his burned 2009 Nissan Versa at Flores Park, about six miles away from his home where he had been attacked in his driveway and abducted on his way to work Friday morning by an unknown assailant, police said.

"Please, if anybody knows anything..." said his daughter Emily Padilla during a tearful interview.  "We will find you. We're not going to stop trying until we find you."

An autopsy would determine the cause of death, officials said.
