Fire crews were able to contain a brush fire Monday night that burned near an apartment.
The Coyote Fire was burning above a dog park and the AVA Apartments complex off of Barham Boulevard between Burbank and the 101 Freeway east of Universal City along the northern edge of the Hollywood Hills.
A team of about 100 firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department and LA County Fire Department worked to extinguish the flames using water drops as well as ground crews.
