Police Seek Help Finding Burglars Caught on Camera in La Cañada

Investigators are looking for any information on the identities of a team of burglars that broke into a home in La Canada-Flintridge. Ted Chen reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015.

Investigators are looking for any information on the identities of a team of burglars that broke into a home in La Cañada Flintridge.

Nobody was home during the robbery, but surveillance cameras captured them in the act.

A camera caught the man who detectives say was the lookout ringing the doorbell, knocking and looking through the windows as he and his team prepared to break in. He turned around a couple of times giving the camera a clear shot of his face.

Cameras also picked up his accomplices as they left the house once the alarm went off.

Motion detectors in the house picked up the burglars as they moved through the house, setting off the inside alarm, said Detective Rodger Burt of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. They then fled the scene.

The vehicle is described as a light-colored sedan. Detectives are still trying to determine if the men have also hit other homes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station Detective Burt at 818-236-4014.
