Commemoration of Nixon's Birth Held at Presidential Library

A commemoration of the 106th anniversary of the birth of Richard M. Nixon was held Wednesday at the Richard M. Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda.

The commemoration began at 11 a.m. with the laying of a memorial wreath sent by President Donald Trump at Nixon's memorial site, remarks by Maj. Gen. Robert F. Castellvi, commanding general of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton, the presentation of colors and patriotic musical performances by the Navy Band Southwest Brass Quintet.

Admission will be free at the library Wednesday. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
