Authorities on Saturday were investigating the deaths of a man and a woman in an Azusa neighborhood.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said their deputies responded to a possible domestic violence call around 2 p.m. in the 300 block of North Twintree Avenue. When officers entered the location, they found a man and a woman with multiple stab wounds. Both were pronounced dead by the Los Ángeles Fire Department.
One man was detained at the location of the incident, authorities said. That person also had numerous knife wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
