The Department of Water and Power has fired two utility crew workers caught on videotape drinking beer and spending hours inside a strip club while on the job.
A CBS2 television news investigation team videotaped several DWP workers drinking beer while driving utility trucks and going inside Alameda Strip for hours during their work day.
DWP general manager Austin Beutner said Wednesday that misconduct termination proceedings have begun against two of the DWP employees.
Beutner says the misconduct investigation continues against other employees shown on the videotape.
