A magnitude-3.4 earthquake was reported Tuesday in the Hemet area.

The quake was centered about three miles southeast of Valle Vista and eight miles southwest of Hemet, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was reported at 12:44 p.m.
NBCLA Facebook visitors reported shaking in Hemet, Murrieta, Moreno Valley and Menifee.
"It was very quick and no rolling," said Linda Patterson, of Hemet.
A magnitude-2.6 quake was reported in the same area about a minute later. Earlier Tuesday, a magnitude-2.6 quake occurred near Indio.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries.
