Escaped Inmate Subject of Search in Orange County

The man, suspected of criminal street terrorism, escaped from a facility in Orange

Authorities are searching for inmate Saith Na, 26, who was discovered missing during a routine body count at the Theo Lacy facility Friday. Na was booked and has been at the jail since last August for robbery, narcotics, weapons possession and criminal street terrorism. An inmate who escaped from a maximum security jail in Orange County was the subject of an extensive search Friday.

Saith Na, 26 – who was booked for criminal street terrorism, robbery, narcotics and weapons possession – was discovered missing from the Theo Lacy facility in Orange at about 10:30 a.m. Friday during a routine check.

The 11-acre facility was placed on lockdown and the perimeter was searched, according to a press release issued by the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

Bloodhounds were seen searching around the facility on Friday.

Na was thought to have escaped in his orange jumpsuit, authorities said.

They asked the public to be on the lookout for Na, who was described as an Asian male of Cambodian descent who stands 5 foot, 8 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.

Na has "Sar Rors" tattooed on the front lower neck, "shorty" on his front upper chest, and has dragons on his left upper arm and koi fish on his left lower arm

He was originally booked into the Orange County Jail on Aug. 26 by the Santa Ana Police Department.

He was due in court March 12, according to the Sheriff's Department's inmate search website.
