Fire Burns at Montclair Business

Firefighters battled a large fire at a metal recycling center in Montclair Monday afternoon that damaged the large property and several adjacent homes.

The fire erupted in the 4700 block of West State Street around 2:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Aerial footage showed the fire had spread through much of what appeared to be an auto recycling business with private homes adjacent to the property.

The cause of the blaze was not immediately available.
