Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free a woman who crashed at a Chevron gas station in Orange.
The 20-year-old driver was apparently speeding southbound on Main Street near Chapman Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Thursday when she lost control, veered across northbound lanes and her vehicle jumped the curb, said Orange Fire Department Battalion Chief Chris Boyd.
The car crashed into two concrete pillars. She was trapped in her vehicle and firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free her.
She was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center with critical injuries.
