Two students were stabbed Thursday afternoon at a San Bernardino high school allegedly by two of their peers, according to school district officials.
The stabbing happened about 2:30 p.m. on the campus of Indian Springs High School, where one of the victims attends, said Marcia Garcia, spokeswoman for the San Bernardino City Unified School District.
The other victim is a student at Curtiss Middle School, which is across the street from the high school.
Both stabbing victims were taken to the hospital with minor wounds to their upper bodies, Garcia said.
Two knives were found at the scene, and two teens – ages 14 and 16 – have been arrested in connection with the attack, Garcia said.
The 14-year-old alleged attacker is a student at Curtiss Middle School. The other is not a student in the San Bernardino City Unified School District.
Students were dismissed from both schools at the usual time, Garcia said.
