Mourners gathered Thursday to honor Vincent Cohran, also known as Rapper Slim 400 who was gunned down in Inglewood Wednesday night.
Candles sat out front of a home, the number 400 spelled out to honor Cohren, a popular music artist who just last month took to social media with exciting news.
"Hey what up everyone it's your boy Slim 400, I just launched my website, launched my clothing line…"
Cohran, was shot in the 8600 block of Seventh Avenue near Manchester at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday. Cohran was found in the street near the driveway of a home, officials confirmed. He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. No arrests have been made.

Local radio stations paid tribute to the rapper, with Power 106 posting an interview with the rapper and Nick Cannon in which he described surviving a drive-by shooting.
"The guy was an angel, man, the guy was a giver," said Harry, a fan.
"Rest in peace man, another prolific artist we lost in the West."
Alan Hosea, the owner of My Uncle's Cleaners, near the shooting scene shared a video of Slim400 who he says had come in to have a button fixed on a pair of pants on Wednesday.
