Kidsave is an LA-based nonprofit child advocacy organization that believes that every child deserves a family. We work to create change so older orphans and foster youth can be connected to permanent families and caring, stable adults.
Kidsave’s Weekend Miracles program serves older foster youth, ages 9-17, who are growing up right here in Los Angeles County foster care. Weekend Miracles is seeking volunteers, called “hosts”, who can spend at least two days a month with a youth for one year, and commit to advocating on the youth’s behalf to help identify a prospective permanent family.
Kidsave is also looking for volunteers who are interested in event planning, community outreach, fundraising, and more. By working together, you will be helping to ensure that no child grows up alone.
