Counselors have been made available to students at Hamilton High School after police opened an investigation into an alleged sexual assault of a girl in a campus bathroom in an incident that was videotaped and posted online.
Parents outside the campus on LA's Westside say they got two robo calls last week from the school, telling them only that something happened in a bathroom on campus.
"Nothing was mentioned about a sexual assault," said parent Kineret Spector. "To me that's very concerning … no transparency as to what parents are being told about the incident."
Her daughter Edan, a senior, says some buildings on campus were closed, and students had to go to the restroom in pairs.

"I mean it always has to be people walking in pairs to the bathroom to make sure nothing happens to them when it's like we should be educating our students to do better and make sure something of this level doesn't happen on a school campus," she said.
Multiple students said they've seen video of the incident on social media. The video, posted Thursday, shows a girl surrounded by at least three boys while another videotaped. No arrests have been made.
"I just know it's been going around," Edan Spector said. "People have been shocked by it, not expecting to see it and scroll upon it."
