LAPD searching for driver of abandoned Lamborghini SUV in fatal Hancock Park crash

Police in the Hancock Park area are searching for the driver of a Lamborghini who ditched the luxury vehicle following a deadly hit-and-run crash. Robert Kovacik reports for the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Monday, March 31, 2025.

One person was killed early Monday morning when the driver of a Lamborghini SUV slammed into cars in Hancock Park and left the scene of the collision.

The crash was reported at around 1:30 a.m. at First Street and Highland Avenue in the community west of downtown Los Angeles. The Lamborghini was northbound on Highland Avenue when it collided with an eastbound vehicle, police said.

A passenger in that vehicle died at a hospital. The victim was described as a woman in her 30s.

The driver was in critical condition, police said.

The Lamborghini driver crashed into several parked cars, abandoned the SUV and took off running, according to LAPD.
