The strong flames are preventing firefighters from going into the building. This video was broadcast during the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
Firefighters responded to a two-alarm blaze at a building in East Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Crews were called to a commercial building on Atlantic Boulevard just north of the Citadel Outlets, where heavy plumes of smoke were seen billowing over the neighborhood. First responders were forced to respond to the blaze from the outside since a roof collapse made it dangerous for crews to enter.
It is unclear what caused the fire. No injuries were reported in connection with the fire.
