List: SoCal Coronavirus Vaccination Super-Sites

There are several sites for COVID-19 vaccinations up and running across the region. Here you can find out more about each site and how to make an appointment.

Vaccination have been opening up after COVID-19 vaccines arrived in California in December. Counties across the region have announced details about sites -- dubbed "super PODS," an acronym for Point of Distribution -- that have opened up.

Check back here as we learn of more sites opening.

Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson

This site is providing first-dose inoculations the week of Feb. 15 by appointment only. The site is a joint effort by Dignity Health, the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park.

Cal State LA

A COVID-19 vaccination site established in a partnership between the federal government and the state opened today at Cal State Los Angeles, one of two in the state and the first phase of an effort expected to spread to 100 sites across the nation.

The CSULA site -- along with a similar site at the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum -- will be co-run by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the state of California through the governor's Office of Emergency Services.

The site is expected to have an ultimate capacity of administering 6,000 doses per day, although it opened Monday with just 3,000 doses. Gov. Gavin Newsom said, however, the site would reach the 6,000-dose mark by the end of the week at both the Los Angeles and Oakland sites.

Cal Poly Pomona

A large-scale COVID-19 vaccination site opened at Cal Poly Pomona. It is aimed at providing vaccines to particularly vulnerable residents to start, beginning with those age 75 and over.

Organizers said the site will ultimately have the capacity to administer up to 10,000 doses per day.

Appointments can be made through the state's myturn.ca.gov website.

Disneyland

This is one of five regional mega-sites throughout Orange County. You need an appointment before receiving the vaccination.

If you live in Orange County and are 65 years or older, you can register for the vaccine here. Due to high demand and vaccine availability, appointments are released periodically. Check the registration page regularly to see if more appointments open up.

All residents are encouraged to register to be notified when vaccine appointments are available in Orange County. To register, fill out the online form.
