A man has died after being shot in Rosemead in the early hours of Saturday.
The victim, an 18-year-old Rosemead resident, was gunned down in the 7900 block of Virginia Street at around 1 a.m. and succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital around two hours later, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Two men between 17 an 21 are suspected of shooting the man, a news release said.
Sheriff's detectives say that at around 1 a.m. the victim asked suspects to leave a party the were all attending. The suspects left and returned with a gun, according to the Sheriff's news release, which was used to shoot the victim in the torso.
Homicide detectives are currently responding to the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
