Two people were killed Tuesday in shootings that what investigators said might have stemmed from a road rage confrontation.
The shooting victims were found at locations about 2 miles apart, one in Mid-Wilshire and the other in Koreatown.
Los Angeles police said they were notified of a shooting at 4:22 p.m. in the 900 block of South Victoria Avenue. There, a man believed to be in his early 40s was found unresponsive with at least five gunshot wounds.
The victim, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene.

"Later, it was learned the suspect intentionally struck the victim with his vehicle prior to shooting him," the LAPD said in a news release.
A four-door sedan left the scene southbound on Victoria Avenue. Police believe this was a targeted attack.
Later Monday, a 50-year-old man believed to be the shooter walked into a police station and reported a woman dead in a car in Koreatown. Police responded to the scene and found the woman dead in a car parked outside an apartment complex.

Details about the victims' identities and the road rage confrontation were not immediately available.
The 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and held on $3 million bond.
