Founded in 1977, Mariposa Women and Family Center provides high quality, low cost mental health and substance abuse counseling, life skills, and supportive services to women and families who otherwise would be unable to afford the help they so desperately need. Over 93% of the people Mariposa serves have low to extremely low incomes. Whether the issues are depression, anxiety, loss of a loved one, substance abuse, anger management, domestic violence, childhood abuse, parenting difficulties, low self-esteem, communication problems, or other life challenges, Mariposa's counselors are there to help.
We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate, energetic, qualified and committed volunteers of all ages, experiences and backgrounds.
