There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the Tuesday night drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to $201 million.
Eighteen tickets -- three each sold in California and Illinois, two in New Jersey, and one each in Arizona, Indiana, Minnesota, North Carolina,
Nebraska, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas -- had five numbers, but didn't have the Mega number.
The three sold in California are each worth $168,654 while the other 15 are each worth $250,000, California Lottery officials announced. California law
requires most major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.
The numbers drawn tonight were 10, 11, 12, 28, 43 and the Mega number was 45. The estimated jackpot was $172 million.
The drawing was the 12th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website.
The Mega Millions game is played in 41 states and the District of Columbia.
