One person is in custody, but authorities are still searching for a man and woman in connection with the attack on Bryan Stow on opening day at Dodger Stadium.

On Sunday, LAPD officers took a 31-year-old Los Angeles man, Giovanni Ramirez, into custody. He was arrested in the 800 block of Mariposa Avenue and booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and held in lieu of $1 million bail.
The deadly weapon is the foot he used to kick his victim, according to investigators. Ramirez is expected to make his first court appearance Monday or Tuesday.
As for the remaining subjects, authorities said they believe a second man was involved in the assault and a woman drove the getaway vehicle.
"Save us a lot of grief and let's end this," said Councilman Ed Reyes. "The woman who was driving, you need to give yourself in. The other coward that did this, you need to give yourself in."
Beck said last week that the woman driving the getaway car was wearing a Dodger jersey bearing Andre Ethier's number 16.
"We're hoping that this jogs somebody's memory,'' he said.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said Ramirez appears to be the primary aggressor in the March 31 attack on the 42-year-old Santa Clara paramedic.
The Stows said an LAPD detective called them Sunday to tell them a suspect was in custody.
"We were very excited that one of the pieces of the puzzle had been put in place," said Ann Stow, Bryan's mother.
Beck said Sunday that the investigation remains at an early stage. He said the tip that resulted in Sunday morning's raid was provided by a parole officer -- one of more than 630 leads pursued by more than 20 LAPD detectives.
Police towed a black Honda Civic from the apartment complex on Mariposa Avenue at which Ramirez was taken into custody. The complex is just south of an onramp to the 101 Freeway, less than three miles from Dodger Stadium.
In addition to the suspect, at least one potential witness was taken into custody based on a search warrant issued for an undisclosed location. The suspect and witness were brought to the Northeast Community Police Station in Atwater Village for questioning.
Stow had been in a medically induced coma at County-USC Medical Center until he was transferred to a San Francisco hospital on May 16. He is still listed in critical condition.
