Paris Hilton's Stalker Arrested Again

Authorities say paparazzi directed deputies to James Rainford's locaiton

Malibu Police arrested a man who was caught allegedly looking into Paris Hilton’s beach house and violating a judge’s order to stay away from the hotel heiress.

James Rainford, 36, was taken into custody around 4:30 Monday afternoon on Pacific Coast Highway.  He was charged with disobeying an order to stay away from Hilton and bail was set at $30,000, The Associated Press reported.

Authorities received a call about 4:30 p.m. Monday about a man standing  on the beach and looking into Hilton's house in the 21000 block of Pacific  Coast Highway, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve  Whitmore.

"The reporting person believed the suspicious person was James  Rainford,'' Whitmore said.

Deputies arriving were directed by paparazzi to Rainfdord's location.

In January, Rainford pleaded no contest to trespassing after he was arrested on charges of trying to contact Hilton at her Hollywood Hills home.  He was sentenced to three years’ probation, and ordered to stay 200 yards away from Hilton’s property.

Then in April, Rainford pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery charges after he attacked Hilton’s boyfriend, Cy Waits, at the Van Nuys Courthouse.  He was sentenced to 227 days in jail, but was released early in part because of overcrowding, Whitmore said.

He is due back in court July 15.
