Photos: Powerful Blast During Illegal Fireworks Bust Rattles South LA Neighborhood

Seventeen people were injured in an explosion when authorities tried to safely detonate illegal fireworks in a South LA neighborhood. The blast shattered windows, damaged cars and frightened people blocks away.
The fireworks had been seized in a bust and were detonated in a specialized bomb squad truck when something went wrong. A man was arrested in connection with the seizure. Click here for the full story.
