One person is in custody after an officer involved shooting in an Eagle Rock community Friday afternoon.
Police said they received a call around 1:40 p.m. about a possible attempted suicide at a property on La Roda Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, shots were fired, but it was unclear who pulled the trigger.
The alleged gunman, who appeared to be injured, had blood on his shirt. He eventually surrendered to police and was taken into custody.

A Large strip of La Roda Avenue was blocked off as officers continued their investigation.
