High-Speed Chase Ends In Take-down in Monterey Park

Police were pursuing a vehicle in the South Los Angeles area Wednesday night. 

NewsChopper 4 Bravo was overhead when the chase began at around 11:05 p.m. as the driver passed through the (10) Freeway at high speeds with no headlights on. 

At around 11:25 p.m., the driver was seen entering the parking structure of an apartment complex in Monterey Park. 

Shortly after, officers were seen tackling who appeared to be the driver as he was trying to run away. He was then taken into custody.

A total of four people were in the vehicle and three out four of them are currently in custody. One more person is still at large.
