Police investigate report of phone threat at Whittier High School

Police responded to Whittier High School Friday following a report of a threat that was called in to the school east of Los Angeles.

Officers search the school, but later determined there was no threat to anyone at the campus.

There were no reports of violence at the school, police said.

The lockdown was lifted Friday afternoon.
