A suspected purse snatcher fleeing police Wednesday in a white Infiniti with paper plates crashed into another motorist, injuring him, and ending the chase when the suspect's getaway car stopped in front of a driveway in an upscale Studio City neighborhood.
The crash happened just before 11 a.m. at Whitsett Avenue and Kling Street in Studio City.
A person in a white Toyota Camry could be seen in aerial footage being carried on a gurney and into an ambulance. There was no immediate word on injuries.
The series of events started when a man snatched someone's purse at 9:40 a.m. Police were alerted and spotted the suspects' car. When police tried to pull the car over, the suspects took off.
