A man was killed early Monday in a shooting at a 7-Eleven in Santa Ana.

The shooting, one of several a 7-Eleven stores Monday morning in Southern California, was reported at 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the store in the 700 block of East 17th Street. The victim, whose identity was not immediately available, suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body.

No arrests were reported Monday morning. Details about a motive were not immediately available.

Shootings were reported at three other 7-Eleven stores Monday in Southern California.

In Brea, a store employee was killed during an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven on Lambert Boulevard and Lambert Road. Another shooting was reported at a 7-Eleven in La Habra. Police said the two northern Orange County crimes might be related.

Officers at a joint news conference with Brea and La Habra police said they're aware of shootings at other 7-Eleven stores, but have no evidence connecting them with the shootings in Brea and La Habra.
