Six people were wounded Friday when two people fired shots into a supermarket in South Los Angeles, and the suspects remained at large, authorities said.
The shooting took place around 4 p.m. outside Superior Grocers in the 10200 block of South Avalon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Two of the victims were in critical condition, two in serious condition and the other two declined to go to the hospital, Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said. The victims were three men and three women.
Two shooters were two men who fired into the store from outside the building, LAPD Officer Kyle McInnis said. The suspects fled the scene in a Nissan, police said.
