A driver wanted for an obstructed license plate led the California Highway Patrol (CHP) on a pursuit from Montclair to Pacoima Sunday night.
The chase began sometime before 10:30 p.m. when the driver refused to yield for officers who tried to cite them for an obstructed license plate. The high-speed chase spanned multiple freeways before the driver exited on surface streets in the San Fernando Valley.
While in a residential neighborhood in Pacoima, the driver suddenly stopped the vehicle and attempted to evade CHP on foot. Officers, however, were able to apprehend the driver and make an arrest.
No injuries were reported in connection with the car chase.
