Storify: NBCLA in London, Day 10

NBC4 crew begins to feel like it's competing in its own event

On Wednesday, Day 10 of the NBC4 crew's time in London covering the 2012 Summer Olympics, exhaustion began to set in.

NBC4's Robert Kovacik got the interview he wanted, with 32-year-old synchronized diver Troy Dumais of Ventura, who has placed sixth in three straight previous Olympics. Dumais and his diving partner, Kristian Ipsen, took the bronze in men's synchronized 3-meter springboard.

"Athletes don't give up," Robert tweeted.

Neither did he, Tommy Bravo or Sean Browning. But they are starting to feel the effects of long, frenetic days of reporting in London.
