No criminal charges will be filed against Agoura High School football players and coaches who allegedly were involved in an incident described as "sexual in nature" earlier this month, officials said.
The incident occurred Oct. 17 on a bus while the football team was on its way to a game.
Los Virgenes Unified School District Superintendent Dan Stepenosky said the incident was "highly inappropriate, to say the least."
All of the parties involved were male, according to Lieutenant Jennifer Seetoo of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Two football players and a coach were suspended in the wake of the incident, Stepenosky said.
Seetoo confirmed that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has dropped its investigation.
After speaking with students, deputies determined a crime did not occur. Deputies will continue to monitor the case should new information emerge.

The school district is continuing to conduct its own case, Stepenosky said.
