Surveillance Video Shows Suspected Murderer

The suspect was described as having a limp that favored his left leg

New surveillance video released by the Los Angeles Police Department shows a man suspected of killing another man in May near the Las Palmas Hotel in Hollywood and now officials are asking for the public s help to identify him. Police have released video footage of the man suspected in a fatal shooting in front of a Hollywood hotel last month.

The man, believed to be in his mid-to-late 20s, with shoulder-length dreadlocks and a limp that favored his left leg, is suspected of fatally shooting Jeffrey Dale, 29, outside of Las Palmas Hotel on May 30.

He's seen in surveillance video walking on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The hotel, which was featured in the 1990 movie "Pretty Woman" and on an episode of "Seinfield" is a tourist attraction. 

Dale was discovered around 2 a.m. with a bullet in his chest outside the hotel. 

The victim was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital where he died from his wounds.
