SUV Plows Into Lake Balboa Apartment Building, Injuring 4

The vehicle appeared to have crashed into a family's living room

The vehicle hit a building, crashing into an apartment on Vanowen Street in Lake Balboa, on Saturday night. Robert Kovacik had details on the NBC4 News at 11 p.m. on Feb. 2, 2013.

Four people were injured when an SUV crashed into an apartment building in Lake Balboa Saturday night.

One person was hospitalized in fair condition, and three others were treated and released at the scene, according to the Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Video from the scene showed a gold or silver SUV that had appeared to plow into the window of an apartment. The vehicle was more than halfway into the structure.

The SUV had knocked a couch over.

The incident was reported at about 8:45 p.m.
