The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company’s mission is to empower youth in underserved and at-risk environments through intensive, 20-week theatre workshops in schools, communities, and juvenile detention centers. Our performing arts curriculum focuses on story development, producing, and performing a completed stage play.
Volunteer mentors at The Unusual Suspects Theatre Company support the learning of youth and adult participants in our theatre programs, committing to attend at least one workshop per week for the entire 10 weeks of a residency. Volunteer mentors get to know youth participants, listen to them, and provide a role-model presence. To volunteer, click here.
