USC student not charged in deadly stabbing on university's Greek Row

District Attorney believes that USC Iván Gallegos acted out of fear for his and others’ lives when he stabbed 27 year-old Xavier Cerf during an alleged car break-in on campus, but the mother of the deceased believes her son shouldn’t have ended up dead.
