Police said Friday they are still looking for dozens of victims recorded by a hidden camera found in a women's restroom at a Glendora Starbucks.
William Zafra Velasco, 25, allegedly used a plastic coat hanger spycam to record at least 45 women, said Glendora Police Chief Rob Castro. Some of those victims were juveniles, said Castro.
The device has a tiny camera hole atop the hanger, with two holes for audio and a USB hookup in the back. It is similar to the spycam seen here. Velasco allegedly would retrieve the camera and download the footage, said police.
Police have interviewed at least 11 of the victims so far, said Castro.
The camera was allegedly installed at the restaurant, located at 1832 E. Route 66, on Thursday, April 14 at 9 a.m., and was discovered by a Starbucks employee on Friday, April 15 at 11:30 a.m., according to police.
Authorities said that any women who used that Starbucks bathroom in the suspected time frame should contact Glendora police.
Velasco is facing a charge of secretly videotaping victims for sexual gratification. He has posted bail, which was set at $50,000.
