A California Lottery player who purchased a SuperLotto Plus ticket in Woodland Hills is the winner of the $23 million jackpot, but has yet to come forward, it was announced Thursday.
The winning ticket matched all six numbers — 36, 40, 27, 35, 34 and Mega number 13 — from Wednesday night's draw.
The last SuperLotto Plus jackpot win was on Aug. 31. That ticket was purchased in Woodland, in Northern California's Yolo County.
The latest winning ticket was purchased at NJ Smoke Shop, 21773 Ventura Blvd.
The SuperLotto Plus jackpot winner has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the prize. The winner must submit a claim to be verified by the California Lottery's Security and Law Enforcement Division.
If the ticket holder chooses the lump sum cash value amount, he or she is looking at an estimated $15.9 million windfall, before federal taxes.
NJ Smoke Shop will collect a retailer bonus of $115,000 for selling the winning ticket.
