Workers React to End of Government Shutdown

President Trump’s announcement of an end to the federal shutdown sent a wave of relief through federal employees, along with the hope the backpay promised ASAP will indeed arrive soon. At the same time, some expressed concerned the underlying political dispute has not been resolved, and with the federal funding agreement for only three weeks, fear they may again be left in the lurch by another shutdown.
