Authorities have identified a man who was arrested after allegedly breaking into actress Sandra Bullock's house while she was inside Sunday morning as an individual who had an obsession with the actress.
Joshua Corbett, 39, was arrested at the Oscar winner's Los Angeles home without incident, according to LAPD media relations. He was booked on a residential burglary charge at Men's Central Jail on $50,000 bail.
Bullock was inside her home around 6:30 a.m. when the alleged break-in occurred, but was uninjured, law enforcement sources told NBC News.
The case was being classified as a hot prowl burglary because the "The Blind Side" actress was home at the time, but because of Bullock’s celebrity status police were looking into whether the man is a stalker. Two law enforcement sources familiar with the investigation told NBC News the suspect has an obsession with the actress.
The sources told NBC News that man kept a diary about Bullock and was in possession of personal items belonging to the actress when officers encountered him Sunday morning.
Neighbors said the 49-year-old Oscar winner had new fencing installed around the property about three months ago.
