A man was wounded early Monday morning outside a Hollywood nightclub, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 1:40 a.m. on Vine Street just north of Hollywood Boulevard, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.
The incident appears to have started with a dispute between two women at the Tiffany nightclub, Eisenman said. Men got involved, guns were pulled and shots were fired.
One man was taken to a hospital, where his vital signs were stable, she said. A man and a woman considered suspects were at large.
A crime scene investigation was underway, Eisenman said.
